I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for Spring and Summer to be here! This week we’ve gotten a tiny glimpse of warm weather, but I’m ready for it to be warm every day.
To get my wardrobe ready for the warmer months, I have about 12 (yes, you read that right) Union St. Tees planned, as well as a couple of Fancy Sailor Tops and another Marianne Dress in the works.
More Union St. Tees
You know how much I love the Union St. Tee now…so I figured why not make it a bigger part of my wardrobe? It looks good on me, the fit is great and I love that I can dress it up or down.
My basic solid options include peacock blue, navy blue, white, black, nude, mint, fuchsia, charcoal gray, and vintage gray. Basic but fun, right? All of those will work with what I have in my wardrobe now in terms of blazers, cardigans, jeans, etc.
I’m also thinking of doing a couple of fun prints to spice it up, like with my black birds tee.
Fancy Sailor Tops
I haven’t made this pattern yet, but the PDF is assembled and I’m going to make a muslin soon. If I like the fit I’m planning on making a handful to pair with shorts and jeans!
All of the fabric linked above minus the owl woven is from Girl Charlee, as it is my number one site of choice for knit fabric. It always sucks me in, too, because if you spend $99 or more you get free shipping. Yeah, you can get free shipping on fabric.com or other sites if you spend less, but the prices/quality aren’t as great. If you haven’t tried Girl Charlee I highly recommend** it!
I can’t wait to make this order and share my makes with you soon! What’s on your sewing to-do list?
**This post was NOT sponsored by Girl Charlee. I just really love their site!
