I’m still working out some kinks, but I’ve moved my blog to WordPress due to some issues I was running into on Squarespace. And, embarrasingly enough, I let my old domain name lapse and have been kind of clueless about it for the past few months. Life is life. Moving on to bigger and better things! I’m still going through some growing pains with this one, though.
While I’ve been away from the blogosphere I’ve been doing a lot of testing, and I’m excited to be a part of the Runway Skirt Blog Tour for Savvy Patterns!
I used a floral scuba from Cali Fabrics for the main part of the skirt and some black lining for the godets. I love how it turned out! To me, the best part is that it looks like a very difficult sew, but it really didn’t take a lot of time. I learned a few new tricks, too. The only part that was a little time consuming was cutting everything out, but it was well worth it!
The options for this skirt are endless, and I hope you’ll check out the rest of the talented ladies on the tour this week! Additionally, you can grab your pattern at 20% during the duration of the tour here–no code needed!
There’s also a great giveaway taking place for one Runway Skirt Pattern and a $25 Urban Sew gift card! Enter below from 12/5 to 12/10.
