Sewing | Laurelhurst Cardigan with Minerva Fabric

After months of silence…I’m back! It’s been a crazy summer, and I haven’t blogged consistently like I wanted. But I’ve been pretty productive and am excited to share my latest make that is perfect for the transition into fall weather. I’m also excited because this project is my first as a part of the Minerva Blogger Network!

I was on the hunt for the perfect fall/winter cardigan pattern, and I found it in the Laurelhurst Cardigan by Straight Stitch Designs. It’s the perfect silhouette and so very flattering.

The fabric is c/o Minerva Crafts, and it is a gorgeous heavy jersey knit fabric that has two “right” sides to choose from. One side feels a little fleecy and the other has a nubby boucle texture. I chose to leave the nubby side for the outside, as the other side was warmer for a cardigan.

It was quite an easy sew, as the pattern is simple to put together. There are a couple more pictures and some more info over on Minerva’s blog.

Be sure to check it out! //Victoria
